Occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least five years relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).

 

Estimate salary aud$65,000 up to aud$120,000 per year.

 

Tasks Include:

 

  • Researching, planning, developing, and implementing nursing curricula.
  • Facilitating practical experience for both general and specialist nurses.
  • Evaluating ongoing and changing educational needs and monitoring the outcomes of nursing courses.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of policies that affect nursing, nurse education, and healthcare.
  • Undertaking and promoting nursing and interdisciplinary research projects, and disseminating research findings.
  • Promoting the utilization of current research findings in clinical nursing practice and patient management.
  • Promoting the implementation of research and research findings into organization-wide functions, such as safety, quality, and risk management.
  • Providing support and education for other nurses engaged in research activities.
