Your responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and monitoring the vital signs and overall condition of critically ill patients, recognizing and responding promptly to any changes or deterioration.
  • Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, closely monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Operating and integrating advanced technological equipment used in critical care and emergency settings, such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and defibrillators.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, surgeons, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Performing advanced procedures and interventions, such as inserting intravenous lines, administering blood products, and managing advanced airway devices.
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during challenging and distressing situations.
  • Educating patients and their families about the patient’s condition, treatments, and ongoing care needs, ensuring they understand and participate in the decision-making process.
  • Participating in emergency response teams, coordinating efforts to stabilize and treat patients in critical conditions.
  • Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and maintaining thorough and up-to-date medical records.
  • Remaining vigilant and responsive to any sudden changes or emergencies, promptly initiating appropriate actions and seeking additional assistance when necessary.
