Assists parents in providing ongoing care and supervision for babies and children, typically in the child’s home

Your responsibilities include:

• Caring for the well-being and safety of the child/children under their supervision.
• Providing age-appropriate activities and engaging in playtime with the child/children.
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, and dressing the child/children.
• Following the parents’ instructions regarding the child’s routine, including nap times and meal schedules.
• Assisting with homework or educational activities, depending on the child’s age.
• Organising and participating in outings and recreational activities.
• Creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for the child/children.
• Monitoring and addressing the child’s developmental milestones and needs.
• Communicating with parents regarding the child’s progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
• Performing light household duties related to the child’s care, such as cleaning up after meals or organizing the child’s belongings.

Nannies play an essential role in providing personalized and individualized care to children in the comfort of their own homes. They build strong relationships with the child/children and work closely with the parents to ensure the child’s well-being and development.
